Animation

Animation-ish is a great introductory program for making your own animations.  You are going to create your own ADVANCE-ish animation using this program.

Why "ish?" You don't have to be a great artist but you need to have a good idea.  So if you can draw  . . . ish . . . then this program will allow your ideas to shine.

To Start

Within Animation-ish you are going to watch 'How To' videos to show you how everything works.

Go to LESSONS and then watch the following videos:
#3 - Advanced-ish (Part 1)
#4 - Advanced-ish (Part 2)
#4 - Advanced-ish (Part 3)
#7 - The project vault - Make the World Turn
#8 - The project vault - Twinkling Stars
#9 - Make your drawing dance
You can watch all of them if you have forgotten how to use Animation-ish

Your Task

You will use Advance-ish to make your animation.
Your animation has to:
- have movement
- make sense
- should be the best that you can do
- have something happening, tell a story
- have different camera angles
Example:
Go from a wide angle shot (where you see a lot) to a close up where you can see someones facial expression, etc. - think about all the different camera angles in your movie trailer.

Reflection
Once you are done you will reflect on your learning by leaving a comment on this blog.

  8. You need to save your work a lot and you need to make sure that it saved because when I was saving my work, Animation-ish stopped responding and my work wasn't saved. If you are trying to have different camera angles and you just want that on certain frames, you need to make sure that it's just on the part that you want that has that movement because when I tried to do it the easy way which was using the transform button on Animation-ish, it was moving all of my frames, I solved that by just selecting the drawing that I want to have a camera angle using the select button and moving it a little bit every frame. Backgrounds are also great for camera angles and for moving your drawings because I didn't have any problems on selecting the drawing that I want to have a camera angle or that I want to move without getting the background that I have getting moved or getting ruined because I put the drawing that I want on the foreground. You also need to be organized so that you will know what to do next and so that you can get your work done faster.
